For restaurants

Every call answered during service. Every large party confirmed before it hits the book.

At 7 PM on a Friday, nobody on the floor can pick up the phone. Selectlogiq answers the hours, parking and "do you have gluten-free" calls, texts guests your reservation link, books large parties and private dining, and asks for the review the morning after. An experienced team sets it up and runs it with you.

Sorry we missed you — we're in the middle of service. How can we help?
Do you have room for a birthday dinner Saturday? About 10 of us.
We can do Saturday at 6:30 in the back room. Want me to hold it?

What changes

What restaurants owners get back

Your host stand stops answering the phone

The questions that interrupt service — are you open, is there a wait, can I bring a cake — get answered in seconds, so your host stays with the guests standing in front of them.

Large parties and private dining stop slipping away

The rehearsal dinner and the office holiday party get a real answer the night they ask, and follow-up until they pick a date — instead of a voicemail they never hear back from.

Reviews that sound like your regulars

Guests who booked a party, ordered catering or texted in get asked for a review at the right moment, so people scrolling for dinner see what your regulars already know.

A day with the system running

Friday, 7:15 PM

The dining room is full and the phone keeps ringing. Callers asking about the wait, the patio or parking get answered, and anyone who wants a table gets your reservation link by text.

Tuesday afternoon

A manager asked about private dining for a team dinner last week. A short check-in answers the menu question and gets the date on your calendar with a deposit.

The morning after the party

The back room is reset and the guest of honor is still posting photos. That's when the review request goes out.

Growth playbook

The Restaurants Playbook

5 plays built for how restaurants actually run — a phone that rings mid-rush, big tables and word of mouth.

01 Take the phone off the host stand

Most calls during service are the same handful of questions. The system answers them the way you would — hours, wait, patio, parking, corkage, dress code — and texts your OpenTable, Resy or website booking link to anyone who wants a table. Allergy and menu questions are answered from what you give it, or handed to your team.

Plays we set up

  • Every call answered, even at the height of the rush
  • Your reservation link texted to callers who want a table
  • Instagram and Facebook DMs answered in the same inbox

02 Land the private dining inquiry

The rehearsal dinner, the retirement party, the company holiday dinner — these inquiries come in by phone, form and DM, and whoever replies first and follows up usually gets the booking. The system asks your questions — date, headcount, budget range, menu style — and checks in until they choose a date or tell you no.

Plays we set up

  • Headcount, date and menu style captured on the first reply
  • Follow-up after you send the menu and the proposal
  • Deposits collected through Stripe, Square or PayPal

Hi Dana — did the family-style menu work for the rehearsal dinner?
Yes! Can we add a vegetarian option?
Absolutely. I'll have our events manager call you this afternoon to finalize.

03 Stop holding tables for no-shows

A large party that doesn't show leaves a hole in the book on your busiest night. Large parties and private dining booked through the system get a confirmation text the day before, with an easy way to update the headcount or cancel — so you can release the table in time to seat walk-ins.

Plays we set up

  • Day-before confirmations for large parties
  • Headcount changes texted back before the kitchen preps
  • Cancellations caught early enough to reseat the table

Confirming your party tomorrow at 7 PM. Still 12 guests?
Down to 10 — two dropped out.
Got it, updated to 10. See you tomorrow!

You don’t have to build any of this. Every play comes set up, and our team tunes it to your business with you in your first week.

Hear it answer a call

04 Ask for the review the morning after

Nobody wants a review text while the check is still on the table. Reputation Manager sends the request the morning after a large party, private event or catering order — or on the delay you choose — with a one-tap link. Every guest gets the same chance to review.

Plays we set up

  • Requests timed to the morning after, not mid-meal
  • Replies to reviews on your main profiles, in your voice
  • Requests spread across Google, Facebook and other review sites

Keep the software you already use

Selectlogiq handles the front end — calls, texts, follow-up, reminders and reviews. Your job, booking and accounting software stays where it is. Here’s how we fit with the tools restaurants businesses use most.

Toast

Runs alongside

Restaurant POS and online ordering

Keep running service on Toast while we handle calls, follow-up and reviews.

Square

Connects directly

POS and payments

Deposits and payments connect directly.

Clover

Runs alongside

POS and payments

Keep using it at the register; nothing changes.

OpenTable

Runs alongside

Reservations and waitlist

Guests keep booking there. We text callers your OpenTable link.

Resy

Runs alongside

Reservations and waitlist

Guests keep booking there. We text callers your Resy link.

SevenRooms

Runs alongside

Reservations and guest CRM

Keep using it for the book while we handle calls, follow-up and reviews.

QuickBooks Online

Connects directly

Accounting and invoicing

A paid catering or private-event invoice can trigger the review request.

“Connects directly” means a built-in integration. “Connects through Zapier” means the tool has a public Zapier app; that can require a Zapier account of your own, and we set it up with you. “Runs alongside” means there’s no public connector, so we work next to it and send your team the details.

What it can replace

  • A separate answering service

Questions from restaurants businesses

Does it replace OpenTable or Resy?+

No. Guests keep booking the way they do now. When a caller wants a table, the system texts them your booking link. Large parties and private dining can book on our calendar if you want them handled separately.

Can it answer menu and allergy questions?+

It answers from the menu and notes you give it. For serious allergies, you choose whether it answers or hands the guest to a manager — most restaurants have it hand those off.

Who gets a review request if diners book through another system?+

Guests who come through Selectlogiq — large parties, private events, catering and anyone who called or texted — get asked on the delay you choose. A paid QuickBooks invoice can also trigger the request.

Can it handle takeout calls?+

Yes. It answers pickup questions and can text your online ordering link, so callers order where your kitchen already sees tickets.

Does it work in Spanish?+

Yes. It handles English and Spanish, including callers who switch between the two mid-call.
